There is something relaxing about the botanical feel of butterflies. The feel of stepping out in nature can easily be captured with Stampin'Up's Butterfly Gala stamp set. With 4 different butterfly images I always have a variety of options to make. Features in this card include colors Daffodil Delight, Lovely Lipstick, Pool Party and Basic Black colors, Use the Butterfly Duet Punch to easily punch the large and small butterflies. Flutters of bright color appear in the center of my geometric designed card. No matter what patterned paper I use I can match the colors in my butteryfly. Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper and the Butterfly Gala stamp set & Butterfly Duet Punch were used incorporating colors Coastal Cabana , Bermuda Bay , Melon Mambo and Basic Black. Vintage botanical was created using Stampin'Up's Butterfly Gala stamp set. Spritzed with Pool Party ink and background stamped set the stage for extra details. The Butterflies were stamped on patterned paper and then colored and punched out. Add pretty details of vellum, washi tape , linen thread and leaves. Stamped and sponged images from Stampin'Up's Butterfly Gala stamp set were used to softly highlight images. Using colors Crumb Cake and Soft Suede to stamp and sponge on additional color was quite easy. Basic Black and Gold Glimmer paper gives a bold contrast to the neutral tones that are used here. Make a touchable card with contrast, color and texture. I used Stampin'Up's Butterfly Gala stamp set with colors Balmy Blue , Daffodil Delight & Basic Black. Create a great focal spot using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, dyed Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and twine. Amazing background texture using the Country Floral embossing folder. Patterned paper and a POP of bright color can mix well especially if you use complimentary colors. (those across from each other on the color wheel) So greens and red/pinks will always goo well together.. That's one of the pleasure of using Stampin'Up's Butterfly Gala stamp set , I can color my butterfly wing sections to match my chosen paper. An added bonus is using the Butterfly Duet Punch for those images..no fussy cutting, Garden Lane Designer Paper, Mossy Meadow. Pear Pizzazz, Mint Macaron & Lovely Lipstick. Who loves Daffodil Delight yellow and Basic Black together? Everyone !!! This card uses the Botanical Butterfly Designer Paper however you can easily stamp the butterflies on white apaper and make your own. The Butterfly Duet Punch easily punches out 2 sizes of butterflies . Add a fun touchable texture using Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon. Create a little color attention by stamping 1 small butterfly in a bright color of Melon Mambo.
